Our History

The Mountains Community Hospital Foundation was incorporated in 1991 and shortly thereafter, received its tax-exempt status. Since that time, the MCH Foundation has raised over $2.5 million to support the Hospital.

The money raised by the Foundation has been used to secure a number of much needed buildings and equipment. The vastly improved state of the Hospital’s facilities is due directly to the efforts of the Foundation and the success of its fundraising campaigns. Thanks to the Foundation and its volunteer members, Mountains Community Hospital now boasts one of the most advanced and comprehensive healthcare facilities of its kind.
